Courses
Two courses are offered in the School of Economics. One is the Course in Economics, the other is the Course in Global Economy and Management.
Course in Economics
This course cultivates an interest and broad knowledge of issues covering economic theory and policy making. Based on the economic theories of microeconomics and macroeconomics, you will learn other applied theories and quantitative methods, as well as specific policy issues.
Economics is a discipline that pursues the enrichment of society, so knowledge of economic theory is indispensable in the process of advanced policy making. The Economics Course develops human resources with practical policy-making and evaluation capabilities backed by economic theory through bidirectional feedback between theory and policy. By learning economic theory and the actual process and evaluation of policy making at the same time, students gain a full appreciation for the appeal of economics.

Course in Global Economy and Management
This course cultivates the basic abilities necessary for professionals to voluntarily participate in organizational management. Through studying the fields of organizational management and financial accounting, students learn the overall management cycle of “Plan → Do → Check → Action” for commercial and non-profit corporate activities.
With the deepening of globalization, the management philosophy, governance, and human resources management system of corporations have changed rapidly in business. In the Global Economy and Management Course, students acquire theoretical knowledge of corporate organization, financial accounting, corporate behavior, information science, and practical knowledge directly related to corporate activities such as management strategy and marketing. Through this, the course develops human resources with the flexibility and expertise to execute business while accurately analyzing the current state of the company, and considering ideal methods for sound corporate growth and development in society.
